Milk or Lemon?

Comments

Love this Diana, beautifully painted.

Milk for me thank you but it looks as if you only have lemon?! Beautifully painted as ever, and the limited colour palette is a delight.

Lemon please! Super composition, Diana!

A beautiful painting- love the way you have incorporated the shadows!1

This is great, Diana. Beautifully painted!

Smashing Diana, love that lemony yellow

Lemon please! Your belfast sink must be famous now with all the incredible watercolours it features in.

Another very clever composition, you are so good at these kitchen paintings.

Beautiful colour and neutral shades Diana. Your kitchen sink paintings are so inspiring.

Love the light in this one. Beautifully painted, as ever, Diana

Another great watercolour Diana. I love the textures and shadows..

Thank you Denise. It was incredibly difficult as the shadows were diffused and I could have taken more time over it 😂 Milk for me too Tessa . Thank you. I think the lemon was actually left over from a gin the previous night 👍 Thank you Linda. It’s a bit abstract within seeing the Sri g Thank you David. Those lines were so difficult and could have been so much better. I wonder if they would have worked with harder lines. Thank you Mia. I loved that brilliant yellow and the shadows. Thank you Heather. The yellow really does glow. I’m attempting another one with a mug of the same colour where the yellow is reflected in objects around it. Thank you Val. I never tire of those shadows in the sink. In all truth, it needs a good bleaching 😂 Thank you Stephen. I’d far rather paint them than do housework!!! Morning Spencer and thank you. I definitely could have taken more time over it as there were some wonderful but very subtle reflections in the tea pot. I’ll try again one day. Thank you Paul. It’s certainly an unusual subject and the colour caught my attention. Thank you Carole. I never tire of these scenes Thank you Alice. It’s always the light isn’t it👍 I could really take a leaf out of your book and take more time over my work With watercolour, there comes a time when it’s becoming overworked and subconsciously I start to lose interest. Thank you Vicky. Looking at it, Im going to challenge myself to getting the glaze of the teapot better in another attempt. All these encouraging comments have given me the motivation !!
