Relentless

Super, Diana. You're right! The rain is coming through the roof in my little "atelier"🥴

Certainly reflects the miserable weather we’re having at the moment - although snow forecast tonight. Cleverly done Diana!

That just about Sums it up today Diana, brilliantly painted 😊

Amazing skill Diana, almost worth suffering a very wet day to achieve this!

I’ve looked at this for three days now Diana, through a different window of course.....it’s captures that drenched and Dreich view. We’ve had a little brightness today, which I have tried to catch.

Relentless indeed! This is superb, which is more than can be said for the weather😟💦

You obviously have a good supply of wet windows! Very effective painting, Diana.

Instantly recognisable as a wonderful Diana Bonas painting - fabulous!

Very effective rain on window Diane, really good.

I love your wet washes Diana - they are so clever. You certainly have a talent there.

I love this 'wet series' Diana, your skill and talent never ceases to impress me.

Sorry, my iPad got it wrong Diana 🤨

Just about sums up the last week Diana. Great rendition of water running down the window.

Great painting as always Diana.

Wow!! You have this down to a fine art!!!

My favourite one Diana. Brilliant.

Brilliantly painted. Do hope it clears up soon though.

Brilliant effects.

Good morning Rebecca. Thank you for your kind comment. Thank you Marjorie. I hope you get dried out and stay warm. Thank you Jenny. We had a heavy snow shower last night which was lovely to watch but followed by more rain. The grandchildren are desperate for some settled snow.

Hello Linda and Tessa. I really feel for the farmers in all these floods. Well I feel for anyone in them. Thank you Fiona. I think yesterday was the longest day ever!! Dark , wet and dull. I have a large north facing bay window to paint in with superb light but it didn’t really get light at all

Thank you Katy. Much appreciated. I’m getting closer to what I really wanted to achieve. All good practice. Thank you Linda. Yes, there’s certainly been plenty of choice when it comes to wet windows. Thank you very much Heather. I have a portrait to tackle next. Much appreciated Carole. I think it’s time for something completely different for a few days. It’s snowing and I’ve not attempted a snow painting for many years.

Thank you Shelagh. That’s such an encouraging comment. I really appreciate your generous compliment Russell. It means a great deal to me.

Thanks Carole, I hadn’t noticed!! I’m so used to people calling me Diane. It’s rained more than I realised Carole, the local park is flooded. Thank you for your ongoing support. Thank you Diane, it’s not quite as I hoped but getting closer. I’m determined to master the runs which are a mix of hard / soft lines. Thank you Audrey. I’m happy to be practicing such a challenging subject. Watercolour is perfect for it with its versatility and translucency b

Thank you Elaine. I loved the colours of the garden all soft in the background. Thank you Sandra. We had a change for a few hours last night with a heavy snow shower which was lovely to watch but promptly turned to more rain. Thank you Denise. It’s encouraging to have your interest. Thank you Romila. I always appreciate your interest

The drizzle of the rain on the glass window looks superb, and the colours glow!

I could say that this series gets better and better, but I don't know if they are, they are all Brilliant!!

Thank you very much Angela. This is the view from my bedroom window with the last of the autumn colours. Thank you George. This is much more challenging that the ones with traffic and I’ve binned a couple already.

Thank you very much Val/ Irene I’m really pleased you like it

Works really well, Diana

Thank you Maureen. I wanted to keep some looser areas which was mostly the garden background
