Wonderful painting with those beautiful reflections Diana. You excel at your handling of light.

Excellent glass work Diana,

Exceptional as always Diana.

Thank you very much Jim and Carole. I couldn’t resist another glass subject. Hello David and Fiona. Thanks again for your ongoing support. Now I must go and look at the gallery and return a few compliments

This is fabulous Diana! Beautifully painted.

Your so good with glassware and this is another terrific painting, The light through the window gives it all that little bit extra.

Great watercolour as ever, Diana.

What an amazing painting, no doubt about the focus of this painting

Thank you very much Margaret. I agree , Willie, the subject would be rather uninteresting without that light. Thank you again Cesare. Hello Spaulding and thank you. I was a bit unsure about focal points in this

Terrific contrasts, the light really shines through.

Very skilful use of the medium Diana, the glasses are particularly well painted.

Watercolour at its very best Diana, it’s all very well having a good light source but the skill in replicating it on paper is the key and you have done it expertly as usual. Another great piece of work.

Looking at this again, there are many nice touches, the use of granulation on the right hand wall and dry brushwork on the foreground drying board work very well.

Another fabulous glass study, no-one does it better Diana!

Another stunning piece, Diana! Just gorgeous! In such homely subjects we delight!

You play in a league of your own, Diana! Outstanding, like always …

Another great study and very very well executed, maybe we could get to do one like this in the Tuesday class. Terrific watercolour Diana.

You 'do' glass so well Diana, love the ordinary but very interesting scene.

Diana, you always manage to turn such mundane objects into exceptional paintings. Brilliant.

Wonderful handling of glass and light. Love the limited colours.

Thank you very much Val and Jim.

This is soooo skillful and interesting and beautiful. I love the dark palette, limited palette used, and you are technically brilliant with the values and reflections in glass ware. I look forward to seeing all your work in this series Diana.

Magnificent, Diana! Wow!!!! A class of your own. xx

Half sheet Waterford NOT heavy paper. Predominantly Burnt umber, burnt sienna, French ultramarine. Time to leave the brushes and step away before completing and overworking. I think this is a danger period in a painting. Particularly watercolour
