Great picture - love you work. Diana

I like it Diana. Your figures are just great.

I don't see anything wrong with this at all. The light and the crowd, you have created a great atmosphere. I love it.

Very effective, Diana, love that bright magenta against the inky blacks. (You must get through some paint, working at that size!)

You certainly like tackling difficult subject Diana and you keep coming up with tremendous paintings. Even in such a dark setting your darks and lights are great.

I love it too Diana, it is magnificent!

It has a very good night time and artificial light feel about it Diane. Good composition as well.

Terrific work Diana. It must look wonderful life size :)

Wonderful painting Diana.

I think it's wonderful Diana

Wonderful atmosphere and light, Diana.

Thank you Maureen, I'm very flattered. Thank you Jim I think the crowd look like Refugees. Thank you Fred. We are our own worst critics. Jenny, your right about the paint. Even half sheets look small now though. Thank you Gudrun and Barry. I am drawn to subjects with strong light contrasts. Thank you Satu and John. I liked the composition though the carrier bag worried me. Thank you Louise and Linda. It does look better viewed from across the room.

Thank you Russell and Dawn It was an incredible experience as three buildings were being projected on simultaneously

Fabulous atmosphere Diana.

Excellent, vibrant and interesting subject

Just fantastic Diana.

Superb work, Diana. Love the composition and the fabulous way you've captured the light.

Full imperial watercolour. I live in Hull which is the city of culture this year. In January,we kicked off with an amazing light show. Figures and architecture are not my favourite subjects and this has been a mighty challenge. As ever, I see lots of issues but with it being so large, it looks ok viewed from a distance
