I can see why you agreed with me about painting in a small scale. Your detail in the distance is amazing! Did you use a magnifying glass?

A fair old vista indeed Dermot, and you haven't fallen into the trap of overloading the outer extremes, I like it, may even have a shot myself en-plein-air tomorrow if it's fine.

What are the actual dimensions Dermot? Funnily enough I have a gessoed piece of MDF waiting to be painted on, your painting will spur me on I think. I like it by the way.

Your first attempt is great Dermot. You might even get hooked on panoramas .

Thank you to everyone who kindly gave their thoughts about painting in panorama format which was a first for me , the painting presented many challenges but was a good mental workout . The view point is a favourite amongst Dubliner as the park itself is beautiful with deer wandering all over the place and indeed quiet used to us humans and will accept any treats and nibbles offered .
