I like the dry brush effect of the trees, Derek. And the distant scaffolding is an interesting and different backdrop. The foreground is nicely textured too. Lovely painting, nice to see something a bit different as a scene.

Thanks Ann, no dry brush here, I only use credit/debit cards with acrylic for all my work.

Yes, that definitely has something that catches the attention Derek. Caught mine.

Thanks for the clarification as to technique, Derek. I like credit / debit cards too for acrylic, but I get in such a mess!

I like how yellow and red works in this painting, also land with siluet in the cave.

Whenever I alight on a picture on this web-site so often it is one of yours Dennis, says it all.

22 x 34cms on back of paper board, still waiting for delivery. This is based on my previous work Symmetry of Oaks which was an abstract of the image of oak trees beyond outr back garden. Now we have new neighbours - a building site with tower crane - luckily ony a two storey low impact development for a dementia care home (got my bed booked)

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
