Sleeping on the idea was well worth it. A hint of Alan's palette, wonderfully executed in your own terrific style. A very fine tribute.

I like the atmosphere and energy you created in this one Derek. Interesting technique that has created texture and exciting marks. Great stuff.

A good lively piece Derek.

A very expressive piece Derek, I do love your version immensely, not sure if I can compete with that but thanks for sharing it with us.

It's full of movement Derek, I can see water rushing down and glistening with light.

Alan Bickley that is, for his great support and my total enjoyment in his outstanding work. This my take on Doxey Marshes. 55 x 42 cms on reverse card of life work that failed. This all created with the 65mm edge of a sample card. The card was initially textured heavily with gesso intended for another piece I had in mind then this is the result of sleeping on the idea.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
