It's fabulous, Dennis - I really like the lively motion of the waves and the fresh, clean palette. The mermaid and the gulls add the requisite talking point, brilliantly done!

A vibrant painting, wonderful colours that enhance this illustrative piece of work.<br />Reminds me of a story I wrote when a young girl at school. A mermaid rescues a girl in a cave trapped by the incoming tide. When she awoke she thought it was all a dream, until she felt the pear necklace around her neck. <br />Smashing work.
