My pet Heron

Comments

Aww lovely painting. Does Heron live in your garden 😏

Cheers Faye not in my garden but on my boat this is on the front and I had another on the back every one was amazed.

Lovely painting Dennis and that's so cool having the Heron on your boat, how lucky is that.

Oh lovely your own boat and a Heron friend. That's great. I do really like the way you paint

A great friend Dennis. Lucky you! It's super painting, he looks to be quite a character!

Many thanks Denise and Faye yes we got to know each other well

Certainly is Louise many thanks

A beautiful painting, Dennis.

How lovely to have a boat and a visiting heron. You have captured the gracefulness of these birds so well and I love how you’ve softened the background so the heron is the main focus. Beautifully painted in your inimitable style Dennis.

Lovely Dennis, how lucky are you to have a pet heron!

Yes I try and stay there five or six months lockdown permitting many thanks Ellen and Carole

Herons usually take flight as soon as they are disturbed so this is a super little story and nicely captured.

Yes I think they like me many thanks Chris

I think I know your secret of attracting your Heron’s Dennis, you share your sardines on toast breakfast with them! But it’s probably because they like you and your boat, who can blame them, so do I. A beauty of a painting Dennis.

Yes Fiona I don't share my sardines with them they left me one 😎

Many thanks Heather he's a beauty

Love the almost quizzical expression! (We get herons in our garden trying to catch our pond fish. Very impressive birds up close.)

What a lovely friend to have Dennis, I bet you see lot's of wild life from your boat, this is also a lovely painting

Such a beautiful bird, you are very lucky Dennis. Hope you are keeping well x

Many thanks David and Carole

Happy New Year to you Dennis, keep well and safe.
