Lovely scene, Dennis, and great depth. I agree with Derek, the attitude of the animals suggest very well the aler of forest and the expectation of danger.

A beautiful atmospheric painting, Dennis...reminds me very much of Monarch of the Glen. There is some lovely colour blending here in the background, just faintly discernible, and could be groups of trees in the mist. Love it!!!
