Not laboured Dennis, a little sharper perhaps but it adds to the contrast of soft and hard edges. Love the blue shadows and the effortless way you have described the group of figures. It’s a beauty.

Tremendous painting of this feature from Venice! The sienna and contrasts of blue certainly resonate with the buildings and has an expansive effect with the people congregating in a group, fabulous work Dennis!
