I think your semi-abstract balance is spot-on in these last two pieces Dennis. It may have something to do with the increase of distance of the subject. The light contrast here is so right.

What I like about this painting, Dennis, is the way you've caught the turn of the seasons from the coolness of late winter perhaps in the foreground to the warmth and burgeoning growth of spring further back - well done!
