He he I can just imagine you sat uncomfortably working on this Denis! Such is Art sometimes eh! But this is a lovely sketch, on the left hand page lovely and detailed, on the right lovely washes, did you mean to post two images that are exactly the same?

I'd been painting in Tuscany - a great week receiving tuition in the art of oil painting from the renowned American artist, Don Stone. The others in the group were all from the States and they had different travel plans to me. I was flying home from Pisa and I had time to kill in the city before my flight time. I just had to capture the famous leaning tower and here is the result. I sat on one of those concrete posts which line the expanse of grass close to the tower. It was NOT comfortable!
