The idea of painting the beach huts at Wells next the Sea last September was dropped. At my advanced age, I found the walk from the car park a wee bit too far so I decided to make a picture of the Coastwatch hut. The chap on duty there seemed to spend more time watching me than the folk ‘in peril on the shore’.
