Lovely shiny and gorgeous looking apples - beautifully drawn.

Agreed, the apples themselves are lovely Deborah, better shadow would have improved it even more

Its been a while since I posted anything so thought I would post this. I followed an exercise (from the Internet) in painting apples but set up my own still life to paint from instead of using the picture in the exercise. Its amazing how when you have lived with your picture for a few days, you see how you could have painted it better. For me, more distinction of light to dark on the righthand apple was needed. My background was also quite light, which is why it hasn't reproduced that well when scanned. But I enjoyed the attempt.
