Thanks everyone. I am loving oils. I really like painting skies and I wanted to capture the feeling of being alone on the beach, but being part of something bigger. Fiona, I did a Monet inspired and a simple beach painting first in class, so this is technically my third!

Oil on canvas. This is one of my first forays into oils. This painting was started on day 2 of a 2 day oil course, but I didn't like the original colours, so I took it home and toned it down quite a lot.
