Recently, my other half and I were feeling a bit glum and took ourselves off to a local beauty spot and sat in one of the hides. We were watching the birds feed , when an elderly gentleman came and sat beside us. When I told him I painted, he gave me an envelope full of the most beautiful photos he had taken to paint from. The kingfisher was one of them. Another experiment on gold. This time gold acrylic.
