Thank you all for your kind and supportive comments. I thoroughly enjoyed working with a new (to me) medium and I am definitely hooked on continuing to paint more with water mixable oils. Hopefully I will post some more paintings soon.

Having only painted in watercolour before, this is my first painting in another medium (water mixable oils). I purchased an online course to give me the basics on how to start, and followed a few tutorials, but this is my first attempt at ‘flying solo’. I realise I have much to learn but just preparing the board, handling the paints and brushes and giving it a go has taught me lots.
