Fine work David. I'm a fan of symbolist/ visionary paintings (I know the two aren't the same, but they tend to overlap). I think this is one of your best.

Acrylic A1 canvas board, a composition which is actually meant to say something rather than just looking pretty, which is good because it isn't particularly a pretty painting. Some elements I think worked well and others not so well.

Inspired by an artist friend I came back to paint a bit at the end of 2017. At the moment I am enjoying it and maybe because I have the patience to look more than I once did I am finding it easier and more enjoyable to actually produce a likeness.
