You have a distinguished example amongst arty window-cleaners. This is how the watercolour artist Joe Francis Dowden began, ie as a window-cleaner, and he&#39;s now a successful professional artist. So keep at it and practise religiously - you never know. <br /><br />I like your painting, you stopped without fussing it to death, and have captured a misty, atmospheric effect you would have lost if you&#39;d carried on trying to refine it and sharpen everything up. I like the way the flower-heads - or cow parsley, it doesn&#39;t matter - do seem to be raised from the greens below: this isn&#39;t easy (as no doubt you know): it&#39;s much easier to turn them into meaningless white blobs - I know, I&#39;ve done it....
