"Morning Glow". Annapurna-Himalaya,Nepal. Watercolor 76x56cm on Arches 300g, rough. This overwhelming view welcomed us in the early morning hours when we stayed at the Gurung Cottage in Ghandruk village. The sun illuminated the clouds left over from the night and the massive peak of Patal Hiunchuli (6441m) was just breaking through. It was a stunning moment, I had to paint it.
