Really beautiful, love the smooth washes for the snow.

I tried mountains last week, yours are perfect, something for me to strive for..love to see some more.cheers. peter

A lovely rendition of the mountains Christof plus a very dramatic sky. Great pallet used on the snow fields giving shape and form to the hill especially in the foreground. The dry brush effect for the crags is so well done, a reall cracking painting giving respect to the mountain.

Stunning watercolour Christof, great light and shadows. The snow is very well rendered. Great view also, i love Tirol.

I think we all like the outcome Christof. You've achieved the softness of the snow as well as the cragginess of the rock.

I most certainly do like the outcome, this is wonderful.

Magnificent!

I love the outcome. Your limited palette has worked out perfectly Christof.

This painting is not by me and found its place in my Gallery by mistake.

Kellerjoch (2344m),Tuxer Voralpen, Tirol, Austria. 76x56cm, Watercolour on Arches rough, 300g. The view from Spieljoch towards Kellerjoch is just incredible. While skiing there I took some photos with my mobile phone. Back home I worked out some sketches and created this watercolour painting. I used a limited palette with four colours only (French Ultramarine, Light Red, Burnt Umber and Naples Yellow). The challenge was to keep the large areas in shade interesting and lively. Hope you like the outcome.
