"Großvenediger" (3674m), national park "Hohe Tauern", East Tirol, Austria. Watercolour 38x38cm on Arches 300g rough. My wife Edith and I made a hike to Innergschlöss on the foot of this majestic mountain. With my camera I zoomed in and got a great shot, when the peak glimpsed out between the clouds. I created some sketches and decided for a square format to give also some impression of the glacier below the summit.
