Thank you all for your kind comments.It was very hot and the sun was very bright when I took the photo for this painting so tried to capture the colours and deep shadows the light produced. This wasn’t the largest number of postboxes I saw- some were in two rows!

This is just lovely. I love how you placed the solid, simple shapes of the colorful postboxes against the textured background trees. It's so effective and wonderfully whimsical.

I haven’t tried any watercolour for a while but came across this old watercolour in my photos. It was painted a few years ago after a road trip in the USA. It was amazing how a row of postboxes would appear at the end of a track and yet you couldn’t see any houses in the distance.
