This is so beautifully done, Charles, especially the water and rocks. Thanks so much for your comment on my painting - in my opinion, you can more than hold your own pretty well and don't need to aspire to what I do, but thank you very much for your encouragement.

I've stopped watching tv programmes about art: they either infuriate me or depress me.... your painting, on the other hand, lifts my spirits!
