They certainly are Lewis, my mother had a Yorkshire accent which was lovely when she recited it.

Beautifully illustrated, and a lovely poem. Love the expressive faces and the lightly placed linework which really emphasizes their downy form.

This was a poem my late mother use to recite to me in her advancing years so i added a few ducks and every visit we would sit and read this out aloud, this simple poem has so many memories and even now i will sit and read it out. Now the one thing my mother never could tell me was who was the author, has anyone a idea please.
