Very striking, Bridget, especially so with a "restricted"palette - gives it harmony. It looks like you've got quite a bit of interesting texture in the foreground or maybe thicker paint?

Thank you for your comments. The texture on the foreground at the top of the wave is Pearl Mica Flake which is tiny pieces of silver leaf and pearlized flakes which reflect the light beautifully as well as add depth to the painting.

A beautiful picture full of atmosphere. Hope your exhibition goes well.

Just finished the last painting "Sapphire Seas" for my solo exhibition “Art to Inspire” at the Willoughby Gallery, The Castle, Bude, North Cornwall 19 May – 13 June.
