lovely first attempt Beatrice excellent

I would never have thought this was a first attempt in this medium. This is superbly drawn. Those eyes really draw you in , especially with the way you have faded the cat out into the background. You should be very pleased Beatrice.

A more than creditable first attempt, Beatrice. Love the combination of detail and looseness. It's very effective.

awe! Thank you so much David, Joanne and Seok for the pat on the back. I must say, I have been pretty nervous to put it online but I was needing reassurance. I will be carrying on with coloured pencils. Such fun! Again big thank you :)

Beatrice Zorba is beautifully portrayed, you are an expert in cool pencils already!

ps I mean't coloured pencils of course! ;))

Can't believe this is coloured pencil. Fantastic. Eyes are absolutely beautiful. Don't need pastels when you can produce this Beatrice.

Thank you so much Carole, it means a lot to me :) Adele, you are right. Who needs Pastel when we can achieve the same work with coloured Pencils and it is less messy. Thank you for the pat on the back"
