Began painting this scene five years ago, following a lovely walk from Heptonstall through this beautiful wooded valley. Didn't like what I was doing so put the painting aside. Recently I picked it up again and decided to spend some lockdown time rescuing it. Basically, I sanded it down and started again. Oil on 3mm mdf. 17" x 17".
