Baker's Mill
Baker's Mill, located midway between Stroud and Cirencester, is truly idyllic, a hidden gem, and it has long been a feature of one of my favourite walks. The millpond was enlarged long ago to supply water to a canal. I'd long thought of painting this scene, and finally did so after coming here when the autumn colours were at their glorious peak. Acrylics on 3mm MDF board, 16" by 16".
