The style and palette of your painting is smashing Barry, though I agree, too many distractions as my eye is flitting all over the place.

Excellent busy scene with figures and activity Barry.The deep shadows and highlighted outlines suggest a day coming to an end.

Liked the shadow on the building and tried to compose a painting around it, I think I ended up with something that is too busy with too many elements distracting the viewer from the centre of interest. Despite the problems I am pleased with a lot of the elements in the painting.
