Hi Barry, just noticed this painting from Cornwall...I'm fairly sure that the fishing villiage is Mevagissey, from the view. Thought you'd like to know...sorry it's not a recent post after you put it on line, but I haven't been a member of Painters-Online for long.

Painted from a friends photo of a fishing village in Cornwall but not sure which one. Painted on Saunders. Waterford not half imperial sheet . Have had the photo for a while and liked the composition of three boats. I decided to keep the background and sky simple with very little detail., this enabled me to concentrate on the boats and reflections. I used the dark reelection from the building on the right to trap the light in front of the boats.
