Messy passages? Where? It's lovely, so understated and soft.

Like the looseness and the lighting.

like the composition and lead in to the focal point , the use of the lampshade to complete the circuit. The eye is well contained within the "interesting portion" - not easy with the looser technique. Like it

I like this Barry, lovely light and shadow. The darks under the table provide the striking contrasts against the softness.

Thank you Stephen, Karen, and Carole, it’s funny that I am associated with landscapes yet do a lot of other subjects, perhaps that suggests that they are the more memorable.

I reckon they've dropped food on the floor...i do it all the time, lol!! I know what you mean though, Barry, but if you'd not said I wouldn't have noticed! I agree with Mike, it's got a lot going for it!!

Thought I would stay with the interiors with the contre jour figures against the light from outside. A few messy passages but pleased with the story telling aspect .
