This piece really evokes the summer season Sandra, both the colours and shapes you have used. That blue in the right hand corner echoes the sense of the deep blue sea and makes the painting work very well indeed.

Acrylic on canvas panel, 10x14 inches. Saw something back in the summer advertised as having a summer vibe, liked it for a title. It's taken a while, nearly winter here!

I became hooked on painting when I joined an evening class on painting "Abstracts in Acrylic" some years ago. Now retired, I was painting fairly regularly until the last couple of years when I've had a "creative drought". This year I'm getting back into painting, concentrating on abstract.
