Ee, it takes me back.....

I was never heavily into rock music as a youth - wrong age group, by a few years - but Jethro Tull always fascinated me; and I have just about all their recordings (not on vinyl, sadly). Ian Anderson, who this is, is still working today - as is Martin Barre, and Dave Pegg. The juxtaposition of colours here brings the lad to life: I don't know what the mix of media might be - is it drawing as well as photographic work? I should be very interested to know more.

It started as a drawing, its not a photo its mixed medium not media.
So I used water colour pencils, biro, marker pens, and tipex when first I drew it in 1996. I only dug it out the other day and it had faded some what, so I refreshed it with acrylic paint.

I have all their early stuff on vinyl and everything on C.D. I wet to Cropredy folk festival two years ago where Martin barre and his band Performed and also Dave Pegg with Fairport Convention.

You've done a brilliant job, thanks for the information. (Does Dave Rees still publish A New Day magazine? Probably not in this digital age.... but if he did, he might be interested in this.)
