So good Andrea and painted with love, you can tell.

Beautifully painted and a very original setting. Really lovely Andrea.

Another delightful painting.

Thank you Heather, I did spend longer than I originally intended on this painting because somewhere along the way it became more important to me to get a really good likeness. Thanks for your comment - you really nailed it there! :-)

Thanks Carole, the setting was the very tiny courtyard garden we used to have. I took two photos as a home-made panorama and used that for the complete painting! I love the look of this skinny landscape format in real life, but it doesn’t work so well posted online as the detail is completely lost ... hence these separate details.

Thank you Anne. I’ve been enjoying exploring watercolour this Autumn, it’s so different to oils and it’s opened up different subjects that I may not have tackled in oil. Thanks for commenting :- )

A little portrait of my daughter from my latest painting 'Family Bubbles' Watercolour on paper. I'm posting the whole painting - 'Family Bubbles' - in this same album. It illustrates the capsule family groups we formed earlier this year to keep our loved ones, the NHS and keyworkers safe.
