Thank you for your great compliment Yoko, I really enjoyed painting this one, I’ve been painting in acrylics for quite a while, so switching to oils was exciting and challenging at the same time! :- )

Another in a series of oil paintings depicting flowers and insects. A good friend (Karen Turner) allowed me to use her gorgeous photograph of blossom to continue my series of oil paintings of flowers and pollinators. This painting is 30cm by 30 cm. on cotton canvas panel.
