I love this one. The composition takes your eyes out to sea. Beautiful, gentle atmosphere.

Thank you Diana :-) Great comment! Thanks for taking the time to post it :-)

Didn't see the original but this works really well.

I love this it is so tranquil and just transports you to the sea.

I prefer this one. Really beautiful colour and composition.

Beautifully done, Andrea! Really love your rendition of the water, which serves as a perfect foil for the dark shapes of the birds. Love your composition, too, which leads the eye into the painting.

Thank you Stephen :-) the original one from yesterday is in my coastal folder - I should post them both together next time!! Thanks so much for commenting! 😊

Very kind Audrey! 😊 Despite the nose-biting cold, it did look very serene looking across the harbour - so I'm really pleased with your comment 😊

Thanks for this lovely compliment Yana 😊 i prefer first one and then the other for different reasons - so well done for picking one so decisively! This one has definitely had more comments on POL so far, so I think you may be backing the right one! 😊

Thank you Derek, very kind of you to post this 😊😊

Thank you for this Linda 😊 - much appreciated! 😊

Always a pleasure to hear from you Seok! Love your comment too! 😊😊

I haven't seen the first one but this one is lovely.

A second version of the painting posted yesterday - less impasto, more glazing and more scene this time. Which do you prefer?
