This view is of the parish Church in Helston on a glorious spring day. I loved the way the trees were in blossom and the graveyard was looking somewhat overgrown and full of wild spring flowers. I particularly enjoyed painting the mottled shadows on the path of the tree branches which were about to burst into leaf
