Another lovely drawing.

Thank you Linda, that's lovely to hear :)

This is a wonderfully observed and subtle piece of work.

Incredible detail and a lovely drawing of a stunning little port.

I've been there and you certainly have captured all the detail of this pretty harbour in your wonderful drawing.

I love all your paintings, Alice but particularly the monotone ones. Truly, truly beautiful.

This is a view of Porthleven, a busy fishing port in Cornwall. When I was walking around this beautiful small seaside town, I came accross a large pile of fishing equipment which had just been unloaded from a boat one sunny morning, and loved the way it balanced the scenery behind. In the resulting drawing i tried to capture the feeling of this scenic, yet thriving fishing port. The drawing was produced using pen and ink, and wash techniques, using acrylic ink in Payne's grey.
