Coo...... I do like this! The semi-transparent water and foreboding sky are very well done, and quite familiar to me, since the sea is just a few hundred feet down a cliff from my crumbling abode....

This is fantastic, I love it ! You've really caught that crashing waves effect. What size is this one?

Beautiful eye catching painting, great colours

Thank you Robert, Louise and Petra for taking time to comment, most appreciated. The size of this painting is 100cm x 70cm and it's on a block canvas.

I'm impressed that it's such a big canvas. I must look spectacular life size!

Oops, I meant "it" not "I" ..!!

Louise, that made me laugh out loud when I read it!!!

Love this - very powerful image. And I'm sure Louise does look spectacular in life size.

Too true Tony ! Alan, it's all the pink gin that I consume that causes these mistakes !

An immediate eye -catcher on the gallery. Great interpretation of the strength of the sea. Love it.

Wonderful painting, super light on the breaking wave.

Beautiful seascape, that white wave really comes forward Alan.

I knew this was one of yours the minute it came up on my screen, Alan! You have really got the crashing seas feel - super colour and textures.

Thank you for those comments Judith, Lesley, Carole and Thea. Your comments mean a lot to me. Thea, I must be getting predictable if you knew it was one of mine straight away!! (lol) I'm trying to get away from the sea and do more landscape work........but the sea has a strong pull.

Seen this one before somewhere? lol Loved it then love it now very powerful, almost hypnotic - well done!

This is beautiful, Jed. It gets your emotional response over to the viewer, surely! This one wants to leap right in anyway to be surrounded by all those lovely colours and to see what's behind that curtain of water!
