Thanks for the comments guys. Norah I think the red is a mixture of Cad Red and Alizarin applied with a toothbrush.

Lovely transparency- have been working with glazes too recently. Some of the old posters :) and bloggers are appearing on FB where the pace is hectic. It's a great pity in some ways. When's your exhibition and where?!! best wishes, Coll xx

Alan the treatment of that shifting sand is just fab. A sort of ethereal look about it. Walking along with the wind to your back.. Exciting.
