Superb, Alan.

Your limited palette just goes to show less is more. Super painting.

Love this, Alan.

A good painting of a well known scene, Alan - brilliant reflections

Super watercolour, Alan.

There only yesterday, love painting this scene

There are many paintings of this fabulous building, but very, very few of them can compare to this one - water that actually looks wet, shadows that let the colour of the brickwork shine through, washes allowed to mingle on the paper to produce rich colour, and while there's detail in the rest of the painting, the star of the scene is never in doubt.

Another lovely watercolour Alan. Your watercolours at the Ilkley exhibitions always caught my eye.

Beautifully detailed painting.

Stunning, so pristine and sharp and clear. And meticulously accurate perspective too! Lovely work, Alan.

Really love this! Have painted this scene and love the area. As Tony rightly says, less is more, Beautifully rendered work

Thanks Stephen the Ilkley shows were very enjoyable its a pity that the organiser became too greedy and the set up was disbanded Alan
