Old Spanish Coastal Town.
Oil on MDF 20 x 20in. A studio painting worked up from colour sketches made at the scene. Combinations of ochre’s and sienna’s mixed with Quinacridone Violet were used to convey the warmth of the terrain in this stunning coastal landscape. This is one of a handful of Spanish scenes that I am currently working on from my recent trip. As in all of my paintings, my own interpretation of the scene.
