Another winner Alan! Love the colour and the fine rigger lines.

You are a demon on these vibrant sketches Alan. No trouble at all to you, beautiful!

Another beauty Alan with great colour

These are really dynamic pieces Alan and I'm full of admiration. Straight in with a rigger eh! I know they're not your cup of tea but why not do a minimal line drawing just for the hell of it - I bet it would be superb!!

Alan, you inoculate your work with a wonderful tonal quality that portrays an air of anonymity.<br />When I look at them I wonder...&#39;whodunnit&#39;. Brilliant.

Not a huge fan of large eclesiastical buildings , but the sky and the grasses are super.

Pared down but definitley Rosslyn.......love the light on the front of the chapel and left foreground. A mysterious quality about it Alan.

This is a beauty, Alan! Super colours.

Another fascinating painting or a sketch as you call them Alan! Beautiful strong colours and as always I love the foreground. It would take me about a year only to try to draw the building!!

It.s been said, lazy on my part I know! I love the sky.

Another stunning piece, Alan - I really like the balance of shapes in this one, you&#39;ve really used the pisitive and negative spaces very well.

Brush and Ink on Fabriano 300lb HP. 11 x 15''. The last of these for a while, I need to get some canvases filled, so the oils are out tomorrow. This was a fairly rapid sketch with no prep work, drawn straight in with a rigger brush and ink.
