Staithes Rooftops

Super painting and a most unusual view of Staithes!

It's such a lovely place and painted beautifully. I love the red rooftops and the grasses leading you into it.

This is a sheer delight Alan. I love the rusty reds of the roofs against the blue sea and grassy foreground, the indistinct dots of boats and life and the exuberant charm of the place.

Amazing view Alan, looks a little Mediterranean! We visited Staithes a few years ago and that walk down to the harbour is a tough one but worth it.

Staithes has always been fascinating for me. I have never visited but saw so many delightful shots of the place… your paintings are beautiful with the smashing combination of orange roofs and blue sea
