It's very nice art. I wish I could learn some more about this frog please?, what is it, what species..,why did you choose particularly this one Alan. Beautifully rendered grass leaves, nicely showing light/dark effect. The frog is nicely done too, very realistic indeed. Well done.

Hi PogArt AsS'er - it is a Green Frog taken from a reference photo on pxhere.com (full link: nature-wildlife-green-frog-amphibian-fauna-875735-pxhere.com). I chose this photo due to the clarity of the photo and the detail it contained. I wanted to test myself to see if I could recreate the detail. The original photo has a dark background, but I changed this significantly for my painting. Thank you for your comment.

Another attempt at a frog. I used salt for some background effect and tried to push the frog to the foreground. I went a bit wrong with the reed it is perched upon - but carried on regardless.
