Really love this. The way you haven't continued to the edge of the paper really works, as your eye is drawn into the painting. Delightful.

There looks to be a angled strut near the corner, which with a little more beefy and coloured paint to it would tell the viewer it's there and no flotation worries. Delicious greens, not easy so a smashing job really.

Hang on Studio Wall

Went on holiday to Norfolk a few years ago and stayed in a cottage by a fishing lake. This has been on my wall for the best part of 3 years and have only recently noticed the the little hut seems to be floating above ground. Dug out original photos - one looking sideways on and realised that the front of the hut juts out over the lake. If I had known that at the time, I would never have stood at the front to view the lake, as I can't swim!
