Yacht’s Rounding the Needles. I’ll make this my final attempt, for the time being at least! before I start to become boring! Its been enjoyable working on these rapid loose skies, a welcome break from my recent more complex larger oils. Oil on board 30 x 40cm.

Some beautiful skies! Not sure if this is quite what is being looked for - decided to do a bit of cloud painting practice outside when we were at Kippford last week - fairly quick due to dulling sky and emerging midges! Not helped by falling wet paint side in the newly cut grass... Not quite a sunset.
