At the NT place Mottisfont Abbey near Romsey Hants until 3rd July. If you like drawings.
All 20th century by all the big names, loaned by Southampton Art Gallery who had the collection donated by the Schlee brothers.
There is everything, ink, charcoal, pencil, mixed media, abstract, figurative, life- you name it.
It is fabulous, even smashing.

We miss a lot by being on the Isle of Wight - most good exhibitions aren't shown here, though we did have Curt Jackson (if I've got the name right after my third G & T) a while ago. I wish we could attract more, because I'd like to see this.
But there we are: as you know, we have some consolations and compensations. I think the island could do with a decent arts festival - there are hundreds of artists down here: but it would take some organizing, and someone younger and more enthusiastic than I am to organize it. Interesting idea though - I offer it to the young and enthusiastic, but don't forget to credit me with it!
And money's always nice.

It looks a very good exhibition, it's 250 miles from where I live so it's not really worth the journey for me.
